- We live in Austin. When we bought our home in 1988 we were considered 'far out' in the boonies. Now it's considered 'close in' (7 miles from downtown). We paid off our house last year and are looking for land and getting out of the city. We've had enough of traffic, crowds, noise.

- 1). One of the schools had a basement and a bunch of kids drown in it when it flooded 2). This land if flat. Ground is hard red clay. It's not stable for basements. Adding a cellar is expensive if after the initial building already exists. I grew up in the TX panhandle and we all had cellars.

- I'm a bit confused. They want to fingerprint people who have overstayed their visas as they LEAVE the country? To what end? They are leaving. I suppose it might be to prevent them from coming back in but that would suppose that they are applying for a new visa.

- It's considered 'old' because it has not been involved in the water recycle process. It's deep enough and has been closed off so no evaporation happened nor has any 'néw' water been added.

- I'm 62. Years and years ago when I was growing up my father had high blood pressure. He was diagnosed in the late 50s. He was told then to lower his salt intake so I grew up in a family where the salt shaker was never on the table and all our meals were not salted while being cooked.

- Shrunk streak! Ha ha. I had a natural one in my 20s. Right in front. My father and son both went grey in their 30s. I had lovely auburn hair but finally gave in and let it go grey too, but I was in my 50s. I do miss my hail color but luckily my grey hair is pretty too.
